Your information, handled with care.
Nafas exists to help you come back to yourself. That trust starts with being clear and honest about what we collect, why, and what is always in your control.
What you most want to know.
You can read the methodology, take the assessment, and browse the site without giving us anything that identifies you. The assessment only stores your answers if you tick the consent box first. If you do not, your reflection is shown to you and nothing is kept.
We never sell your information. We never reuse one person's data for another client. You can ask us to delete what we hold at any time.
This is a coaching and education service, not therapy or medical care. See our not-therapy note in the footer and on every reflection.
Only what the work needs.
Assessment responses: if you consent, the answers you give in the 15-question reflection, including the free-text answer, along with your name and email so Amir can review them and send you your personal reflection. This is the most sensitive thing we hold, and it is only ever collected with your consent.
Contact and newsletter details: your name and email, when you choose to send a message or subscribe.
Basic, privacy-respecting analytics: aggregate page visits with no cookies and no cross-site tracking, so we can understand what is useful. This does not identify you.
Consent, plainly.
Our lawful basis for storing your assessment responses and contact details is your consent. You give it by ticking the box or by sending us your details, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
We keep your assessment responses and any coaching records confidential, and we do not reuse them for any other client. This confidentiality continues even after our work together ends, and we keep your responses only as long as needed to support your coaching or until you ask us to delete them.
The services behind Nafas.
We use a small set of trusted services to run the site and the tools, each under Nafas's own accounts. They process data only to provide their service to us. In use today, for hosting and the site: Vercel. For sending you your results: Resend. For storing assessment responses: Neon. For the methodology search that grounds your reflection in the Nafas method: Pinecone (with OpenAI providing the search embeddings). For the AI writing that helps prepare your reflection: an AI provider (Anthropic). For secure sign-in to the coaching space: Clerk.
A few more are named here before they switch on, and each is used only once that part of the service goes live: Beehiiv (the newsletter), Tally (the contact form), Plausible (privacy-respecting analytics), and Calendly (session booking).
We ask each of these to handle information responsibly and not to use it for their own purposes.
What you can ask for, any time.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent. Where the law gives you specific rights, including under California (CCPA) and Canada (PIPEDA), we honour them.
To make any of these requests, email us at amir@nafaslifecoaching.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Nafas is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
